The way I see it, the more I splurge on junk food and such to fuel my writing, the more motivated I will be to gain that money back by being a best selling novelist. I mean what other way do I have of making back the money I never even had? Deciphering that last sentence is a riddle in itself.
Plus, I had to take my stance on this “War on Christmas” shit.
Now, onto the NaNoWriMo 2015 update. I am not even at the half way mark, but that has not discouraged me. My poor little stats chart is pathetic, and everyone online has been posting their high and mighty word counts. As bitter as that sounded, I’m actually happy for them and strive to reach a high and mighty number of words myself.
This year’s story has taken several ridiculous turns, and I will continue down that path until the very end. Depending on who you ask, there is either no hope at all for me winning this year or I stand a chance even if it’s typing the 50,000th word at 11:59 PM, November 30th and then validating it on NaNo at 11:59:59.
I have a little more hope than that though. I just got to sit and write as I am doing now.
Even if Emo Jess wins, and I don’t make it to 50,000, Regular Jess says, I’m still a winner because I think a good story has come out of this, and I’ll be working on this thing for years on end like Jamie and Ryan from NaNo 2013.
And I shall return to my writing adventures.
